A Good Reason for Absence

Ok Ok. It's been a long time since I've said or done anything for you guys..That's not ENTIRELY true, but let me tell you, I have a good reason!

I finally moved to Denver! I've been to more shows since moving here in August that I can count, mostly amazing. But I've been BUSY working too. The Lucid Visions Video brand is coming across pretty smooth in the big city, if I don't say so myself. I have lots of new content to post about, but for now, have this:

Snowball Afterparty MADNESS

Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Snowball has done it again! The OFFICIAL Snowball after-parties were just released today, and let me say, DAYUUM! Four of the most amazing venues for electronic music that the great city of Denver, CO has to offer are participating in the shenanigans, and all have STACKED lineups! Casselman's, Norad Dance Bar, Cervantes Masterpiece, and the brand new venue, The 1UP Colfax are doing genre specific parties all weekend long! I already had my Friday/Saturday plans on lock with Adults Only Afterhours and Sub.Mission's 7 Year Anniversary Party, but these announcements are making me giddy! The Real Countdown Begins: Snowball 2014

Getting SUPER PUMPED for Snowball in 10 DAYS!!!

I'm here droppin another Snowball Mixtape for your ears, this one focusing on the BIG Artists. The Snowball Team just keeps sweetening the pot too! Seems like everyday on their FB Page, there's some new feature of the festival shaping it up to be one of my favorites of the year already! They've kept their sponsorship with Sierra Nevada Brewing company, AND implemented an ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR! $1 Beers for the first hour, $2 beers the second hour, $3 beers in the third hour, followed by $4 beers for the rest of the day! Those of us who aren't down with that big hoppy flavor can still get Coors Light and lots of whiskey, but it definitely helps those of you drinkin on the cheap! 3 Day Passes and Single Day tickets are still available HERE.

Still waiting to hear from Snowball on the Official AfterParty Scene, but as of right now, Fix Your Face Radio's Saturday night is complete. After the PLM Artists Dance Party followed by Pretty Lights' Headlining set, we're off to the Darkstar Lounge in Denver, Colorado to celebrate Sub.Mission's 7 Year Anniversary with Mala, Goth Trad, Commodo, Kahn, and Gantz. It starts at 10pm but goes until 5am! Sunday will be a little rough, but well worth it! Those tickets are 40 bones and selling out quick, get yours soon if you wanna party deep, dark, and dangerous with us :) OH, PS. They are NOT selling tix at the door, so get em online SOON!




**UPDATE** Looks like Friday Night is locked in too! I'm a HUGE fan of Deep/Tech House and I just found a most excellent party to attend! 21+ , $20 Cover, OPEN BAR. It's at the Lumonics Light & Sound Gallery, Josh Romano VS Jon Shiberry headlining with support from Buddah Biggsbee, Illen, and Nate Ramirez. Should be EPIC!

Snowball 2014 : Worth the Wait

After what seemed like the longest wait EVER, the Snowball Team has finally released the line-up and location of this year's festivities. April 4-6th in Denver, CO at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium, Snowball 2014 has got one hell of a lineup!  I was super worried that the 4th year festy would not be able to happen this year, after the operation moved once already from their original location in Avon, CO. Last year, the festival took place in Winter Park, CO, and seemed to do well. Many out of towners are complaining that moving the party from a ski resort to the city is taking away from the original idea and the main reason people went to the party was the added bonus of being able to get some runs in on the hill before the BIG RAGER. I admit, the mix of snowboarding and music is fucking awesome; but as a Colorado kid, I feel like the lineup is dope enough to give it a chance.
